We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and meticulous Tax Professional to join our team as a Tax Manager to play a key role in supporting the group’s tax function.
Your primary focus will be to ensure the integrity of our tax compliance, support our financial reporting, and provide well-researched analysis to inform business decisions.
Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance & Reporting: Manage the timely and accurate preparation and filing of the group’s tax compliance obligations, including profits tax return review, transfer pricing documentation, BEPS 2.0 Pillar Two reporting, and CoR applications.

Technical Analysis & Advisory: Conduct thorough research and analysis on the tax implications of business activities. Provide recommendations for management to ensure all decisions are made with a full understanding of relevant tax laws and regulations.

Special Enquiries: Lead and manage responses to tax disagreements and enquiries from tax authorities to minimize exposure.

Cash Movement Analysis: Provide analysis on fund flow arrangements and cash repatriation to ensure they are structured in a tax-compliant manner.

Project Support: Support ad-hoc transactions and Joint Venture projects by conducting tax due diligence and researching tax-efficient structuring options that align with compliance requirements.

Group Coordination: Work collaboratively with accounting teams to review interim and year-end tax assessments and provisions, particularly from BEPS 2.0 Pillar Two perspective, ensuring consistency and alignment with group accounting policies and relevant tax standards.

Team Guidance & Training: Provide ongoing guidance and share knowledge with the accounting teams across our business units in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Singapore to strengthen overall tax compliance capabilities.
Requirements:

Professional Qualifications: Holder of a recognized professional accounting or tax qualification (CPA, CTA, or equivalent).

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Core Experience: Minimum 10 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, combining training from a Big 4 professional firm with in-house experience from sizable corporate groups.

Industry & Listing Experience: At least 5 years of experience working with Hong Kong-listed companies, specifically within the real estate development and investment properties sector.

Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing tax compliance and providing technical tax support across multiple jurisdictions.

Communication Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tax matters clearly and concisely to internal stakeholders.

Interpersonal Skills: A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building positive working relationships with colleagues and external advisors.

Analytical & Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical and research skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Language Proficiency: Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese, and Putonghua).
Candidates with less experience may be considered as Senior Tax Accountant.
We work 5 days per week.
