Wharf owns and operates two Hong Kong icons – The “Star” Ferry and Hongkong Tramways. Providing inexpensive and reliable services to the public, these icons have been in operation for over a century and are two legacies and vital parts on a tourist itinerary in Hong Kong.

The “Star” Ferry pier in Central will be relocated next to MTR’s Airport Express Line Hong Kong Station in 2006 to make way for the Central reclamation works. The new “Star” Ferry pier, located on the site of Piers 7 and 8, will be a modern rendition of its century-old architectural style.
